The Department II/7 “Trade and Competition Policy Analysis and Strategies” of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, and Tourism invites proposals for a study on the topic:
Subject: “Trade agreements and export performance of Austrian companies” Deadline for submissions: September 23, 2025
Project objectiveWhile macroeconomic studies consistently demonstrate the positive welfare effects of trade agreements, there is limited understanding of the extent to which different companies benefit and the specific forms these benefits take—particularly concerning industry sectors and company size. In light of recent developments, this project will also examine the impact of trade agreements on industrial policy objectives, supply chain security, and the reliability of supply chains.
