Highlighting three major disruptive trends, (i) shifts of global automotive production towards Asia, in particular China, (ii) trends in e-mobility, and (iii) problems in supply chains, this article shows how Austria and the Central and East European automotive sector have faced these shifts. Overall, the EU-CEE countries have benefited from the relocation of automotive companies to emerging countries and have been integrated into global, in particular German supply chains during the last thirty years. The e-revolution started off in 2020 and the EU-CEE had a rather good start. As the automotive industry is a key sector in the region, the electric transformation is vital for their future. Dieser Artikel beleuchtet drei wichtige disruptive Trends, n\u00e4mlich (i) die Verlagerung der globalen Automobilproduktion nach Asien, insbesondere nach China, (ii) Trends in der E-Mobilit\u00e4t und (iii) Probleme in den Lieferketten, und zeigt, wie \u00d6sterreich und der mittel- und osteurop\u00e4ische Automobilsektor diesen Ver\u00e4nderungen begegnet sind. Insgesamt haben die EU-CEE-L\u00e4nder in den letzten drei\u00dfig Jahren von der Verlagerung von Automobilunternehmen in Schwellenl\u00e4nder profitiert und sind in globale, insbesondere deutsche Lieferketten integriert worden. Die e-Revolution begann im Jahr 2020 und die EU-CEE hatte einen recht guten Start. Da die Automobilindustrie ein Schl\u00fcsselsektor in der Region ist, ist die elektrische Transformation von entscheidender Bedeutung f\u00fcr ihre Zukunft.
