 ade Talks is a series of events organized by the Competence Center Research
  Focus International Economics (FIW). International economic researchers or
  high-level policy makers are interviewed on current issues in internationa
 l economics and economic policy. Dalia Marin Dalia Marin is Professor of In
 ternational Economics at TUM School of Management\, Technical University of
  Munich. She was Professor of International Economics at Ludwig-Maximilians
  University of Munich (1998 – 2017)\, Associate Professor at Humboldt Uni
 versity Berlin (1994-1998)\, and until 1994 Assistant Professor at the Inst
 itute for Advanced Studies\, Vienna. She has been Visiting Professor at Har
 vard University (2002-2003)\, (2011-2012)\, Stern School of Business\, New 
 York University (2007-2008) International Monetary Fund (2002)\, National B
 ureau of Economic Research\, Cambridge\, Mass (2002)\, Wissenschaftszentrum
  WZB Berlin (1995)\, European University Institute\, Florence (1994). She i
 s a Senior Research Fellow at BRUEGEL\, Brussels\, a European Think Thank o
 n Economic Policy in Europe\, Fellow at the European Economic Association\,
  Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR)\, London
 \, Member of the Panel of Economic Policy (2010-2012). She has been Team Le
 ader at the Russian European Centre for Economic Policy in Moscow and has a
 cted as a consultant for the European Commission\, the European Bank for Re
 construction and Development (EBRD)\, London and the International Monetary
  Fund\, Washington.   Harald Oberhofer Harald Oberhofer is a Senior Econom
 ist at WIFO\, the Austrian Institute of Economic Research. He is Professor 
 of Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. His resear
 ch interests include International Economics\, empirical Industrial Organis
 ation and Applied Econometrics. Harald Oberhofer studied at the University 
 of Innsbruck and holds a doctorate in Economics and Social Sciences from th
 e University of Innsbruck. Harald Oberhofer regularly serves as a consultan
 t to international organisations such as the OECD and the World Bank\, wher
 e he analyses the impact of institutional regulations on firm performance\,
  also over the business cycle.
